"Three friends, two of us from Denver and one from San Francisco just had dinner out in San Francisco and finished with dessert at Bombay Ice Cream in SF. It was the perfect opportunity to tell my friends about your project which I learned about from my good friend Manisha at Indian Food Rocks. Of course we talked about how fortunate we are and it was my chance to ask them for help also. We are happy to send this donation and would like to know what goes into the food kits that you distribute. With your story being told on food blogs around the world, I am sure your goal will be met."  - Lee Ruppeck -

"A little more patience, a little more devotion, a little more charity for all, a little more love; with less bowing down to the past, and a silent ignoring of pretended authority, brave looking forward to the future with more faith in our fellows, and the race will be ripe for a great burst of light and life."  - Elbert Hubbard -

feedahungrychild.org is a not-for-profit charitable Trust formed in a collaborative effort of like-minded people from all around the world.  It aims to replace the empty plates of the underprivileged children and replace them with ones of food.  While FAHC addresses the holistic needs of each children it supports, it believes illiteracy, malnutrition, and other concerns can only be addressed when hunger is appeased.

Mission:

The FAHC mission continues to be rooted in its humble beginnings with a strong foundation of commitment, dedication, and teamwork.

  • Join the fight against global poverty.
  • Help feed hungry children one by one.

Larger Vision: feedahungrychild.org aims to improve the lives of good many underprivileged children in their efforts to support themselves, their families, and their communities by giving them the chance for better food, better education, better healthcare, and other essential welfare.

How can I help?

With the help of volunteers, FAHC is now supporting 36 children and their families since April 2007.  This year we are also fundraising to continue supporting more children, so would be extremely grateful of any help or contributions you can give to FAHC.  We do need your help as FAHC supporters now more than ever.  There have been some great donors, who have parted with some impressive amount of cash and  and some have come together as a batch and made collective donations.  Funds from FAHC programs go directly to the children and their families.  FAHC does not have any paid employees or any other direct administrative expenses.
